Structured pages have an underlying schema which defines field names, data types and primary key information. They are best suited for workflow use cases where each row in the page should be treated as a record. It is still possible to update and retrieve the entire contents of a structured page using a single push request, but rows within structured pages can also be updated and queried using an SQL-like query language.
