Pull Live & Streaming Data into WordPress

1. Sign up for ipushpull and install our Wordpress Plugin

First, make sure you or your account admin have signed up to ipushpull and installed our Wordpress Plugin. For help installing it see ipushpull plugin for Wordpress Installation Guide.


2. Login to Wordpress and open the Wordpress page

You pull data into your Wordpress page by clicking the ipushpull button in the Wordpress page toolbar:

Select the ipushpull page you want displayed with the “Folder Name” and “Page Name” dropdowns in the ipushpull Shortcode Generator. 

The following lists all available settings, both in the Shortcode Generator and for the shortcode:

3. Troubleshooting Wordpress Issues

Login Prompt

If you or visitors to your website see the following login prompt instead of your data:

It means that the Page is not Public, so visitors to your website will have to subscribe and log in to ipushpull first before they can see the data. If you want anyone to be able see the data, make the Page Public.

Note that if you are logged into ipushpull via Wordpress when previewing the Page, the page will be displayed correctly! Log out of ipushpull first if you want to view the page as your site visitors will view it.

 

"Page not found" Error

If you see the following message instead of your data:

It means that the Page does not exist - check the Page and Folder names and try again.
